Format: 24 x 36 inch poster, digital image
Summary: The image that most often comes to mind when someone says "casualty of war" is usually that of a soldier shot by another soldier from an opposing army. In reality, over the past half-century or so, victims of wars and other violent conflicts have become increasingly civilian (and often disproportionately women and children). We present here two different versions of our diagram for your consideration - one visually explicit, one not - for a variety of learning situations and audiences. Warning: Although drawn as a comic, Version One contains images that may disturb some viewers.
