All Pinky Show content (audio, video, slideshows, text, photographs, graphics) is protected by copyright in the U.S. and other countries. The following contains information on how to request permission to reuse content from The Pinky Show and The Pinky Show websites for your own purposes.
You do not need permission for:
• Individual Use: Pinky Show content, including Stories/Entries/Broadcasts/short video blurbs, may be printed and/or saved for your own personal, non-commercial use. All use of Pinky Show content requires that all copyright and other notices and clear attribution to The Pinky Show must be maintained. The content may not be modified (resizing, frame rate change, recompression and/or format change, resample, and other means of file manipulation are all considered forms of content modification), distributed, retransmitted, or used, in whole or in part, in derivative or otherwise related works. All other uses, including reprinting, republishing, broadcast and any further distribution, regardless of format, require written permission from The Pinky Show.
• K-12, College, University, and Community Education Use: Teachers may make up to 1 copy per student of transcripts, stories, entries, and/or broadcasts of Pinky Show content for one-time classroom use, with permission limited to a maximum period of one academic year. Audio, Video, and Slideshow broadcast content used in classroom teaching at a K-12 school, College or University: Episodes must be used in their entirety. All Pinky Show copyright notices must be retained in their original form and context, and clearly legible. As it is for personal use, no Pinky Show content may be modified (resizing, frame rate change, recompression and/or format change, resample, and other means of file manipulation are all considered forms of content modification), distributed, retransmitted, or used, in whole or in part, in derivative or otherwise related works. All other uses, other than that permitted above, including reprinting, republishing, broadcast and any further distribution, regardless of format, require written permission from The Pinky Show.
• Linking to Audio, Video, or Slideshow content on PinkyShow.org: You may place a link on your web site to Pinky Show content available through PinkyShow.org. For specifics regarding acceptable ways of doing this, please refer to The Pinky Show's Terms of Use.
Please use our online permissions form for the following requests:
• Reprints, Magazines, Newsletters, Newspapers, Websites, Blogs & E-mail: Stories/Entries/Broadcasts must be used in their entirety. Permission is limited to the one-time use or the edition specified by the requestor. Rates vary. Please contact The Pinky Show permissions agent for more information.
• Audio used in a Documentary or Presentation: You may request permission for an entire story, an excerpt, sample, music and/or sound, or a quote. Permission is limited to a single project or presentation as specified by the requestor. Rates vary according to the duration and/or type of requested audio. Please contact The Pinky Show permissions agent for more information.
• Trade Books & Textbooks: You may request permission for an entire story, an excerpt or a quote. Permission is limited to the edition specified by the requestor. Rates vary according to print run and whether you use the entire story or a portion of it. Please contact The Pinky Show permissions agent for more information.
• Use of Pinky Show audio or transcripts on the Web: Stories/Entries/Broadcasts must be used in their entirety. Rates vary according to the length of time the story will be posted. The maximum is one year, with the possibility of extension at the discretion of The Pinky Show. Sound/music samples from The Pinky Show require written permission based on an explanation made as to the purpose and context of the sound/music samples, and may be obtained by e-mailing the Permissioins Agent.
• Use of Photos, Graphs, and other Illustrations found on PinkyShow.org: Rates vary according to circulation or print run, or in the case of web use, the length of time that the photo or graph will be posted. The maximum is one year, with the possibility of extension at the discretion of The Pinky Show. Please contact The Pinky Show permissions agent for more information.
• Use of Pinky Show marks (including The Pinky Show name or logos) or use of Pinky Show characters or content as visual or audio props in commercial films or live productions. Please contact The Pinky Show permissions agent for more information.

We typically deny permission to use Pinky Show content or marks in connection with the following:
- Advertising, marketing or promotional activities;
- Other Ways Commercial activities;
- Political activities (including without limitation use in connection with any endorsement of a candidate for political office, to support any side in a political debate or by any organization with a primarily political purpose);
- Fundraising; and
- We reserve the right to refuse any request to reprint, repurpose, or otherwise utilize Pinky Show content.
