Hi. I'm Pinky and right now I'm in Hawaii.

Recently we came across this short video about Genetically Modified Organisms - GMOs. It's called Islands at Risk: Genetic Engineering in Hawaii. It was made by Na Maka o ka Aina for Earthjustice, the non-profit public interest law firm. I hope you take the time to watch it. It's short - a little less than 30 minutes - but it'll give you some insight into what some biotech corporations are doing on their way to trying to control the world's food supply. All of us here at The Pinky Show think it's a crime that these corporations are using the lands and people of Hawaii as a guinea pig for experimentation.

We hope you use this video as a starting point for learning, because, well, GMOs are already in your food, you're eating them. We'll include some information at the end of the video for those of you who want to know more about these issues.
