Q: What is the Univeristy of Marginalia?
A: The University of Marginalia (est. 2005) is an educational institution under continuous development by a loosely disorganized group of local-area animals (i.e., Pinky, Bunny, Mimi, Kim, ants, etc.). The stated mission of the institution is threefold:
One. To develop mutual understanding and respect between all living beings;Our University is still in its infrastructure-building stages, but if you like general idea of The Pinky Show (which is of course one of our main projects), please come back to this website from time to time and check for updates. We're creating a new-form institution through which we'll be able to work together with others, both over the internet and face-to-face, to grow an expansive field of illuminating and strange new learning & teaching resources. Regardless of what kind of subject matter, format, or method we choose to work with, our fundamental area of inquiry and struggle will continue to be the transformation of consicousness.
Two. To cultivate intellectual curiosity and compassion; and
Three. To ask the obvious questions that need asking even if people get really annoyed that you're asking and they talk to you like you're stupid even though it's obvious that they don't have any idea what the answer is either.
